India to Take Distinctive Approach Toward Cryptocurrencies, Not Like the US or El Salvador

The government will not follow the footsteps of its western counterparts and will take a distinctive approach to regulate cryptocurrencies in India, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance Jayant Sinha said during an online event. Stakeholders including cryptocurrency exchanges such as WazirX and CoinSwitch Kuber have agreed to Sinha’s remarks.
