Google Brings Matter Support to Android Devices, Nest Home Products for Smart Device Interoperability

Google has announced that its Android, Google Nest, and Google Home devices will now be interoperable with smart devices from other brands, with support for the Matter protocol. Matter is a royalty-free open standard developed by CSA that intends to make it easier for smart devices to connect to each other regardless of the protocol that it is built on.
