WhatsApp has begun testing a new in-app message translation feature on its Android app. Spotted by a feature tracker, the new message translation feature enables seamless, automatic on-device translation. The 'translate messages' feature processes chats directly on the user's device, and will ask users to select and download language packs for offline processing.
